About Ryan

I started R&K over 7 years ago, but I have 17 years of experience in the audio/video and structured wiring field. I am licensed and insured. I am a native of Mount Pleasant and strive to bring my family values from my home into yours!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to a trade college in Arizona that specializes in low voltage and structured wiring. I thought I would enjoy it and I have! I have a career in a field that I allows me to fix things and solve problems.

What do you enjoy about the work you do?
I really love doing this type of work. I like the challenge and the pleasure that I get by interacting with clients and helping them with their home audio/video needs.

Describe a recent project you are fond of, How long did it take?
I will be honest… some projects go smother than others, but all projects are fun for me, especially once I’m finished and I can see that the vision the client had was exactly what I was able to provide to them.

What advice would you give a client looking to hire someone in this line of work?
Find someone that you can connect with, whether its on the phone or meeting for the first time. Trust your instinct. There are a lot of “Pros” out there but not as many professional people.

What questions should customers think through before talking to a professional about their project?
As long as they have a general idea of what they are looking to accomplish, I can talk to them and give my advice. Then, we can brainstorm together on the best way to achieve their goal. As long as the client is happy, then I have done my job.
